Wedding in Provence at Chateau Montcaud

mariage provence wedding planner

It is in a typically Provencal setting, under a radiant sun, that S&P  said yes for life. Surrounded by their families and friends, in the magnificent castle of Montcaud in Provence, they lived this moment out of time. It was a pleasure, as a Wedding Planner, to accompany these two beautiful people.

While the day before was punctuated by a moment of sharing between the bride and groom and their guests during a welcome barbecue, Saturday June 11th became their special day.

The day began with a gentle activity linking scents and creativity: a perfumist’s workshop led by Corinne from Voyage en terre de parfum. The guests were all able to leave with their own perfume created especially for them.

Meanwhile, my assistant and I took care of the set up of the ceremony using furniture and accessories rented from Joli Bazaar. The florists of l’atelier des Sablières worked on the floral decorations, especially the arch.

Then came the getting ready of the bride and groom, each in the most splendid suites of the castle. While the beautiful bride  took care of her own hair and makeup, these moments of preparation were immortalized by the photographer Julia accompanied by Marc and by the videographer Tommy from VideoParis. The bride and groom, the accessories, the decorations, all were well captured.

The long-awaited moment arrived, the ceremony. At the foot of the sumptuous castle built in 1848, the groom  was waiting for his future wife  who came down the steps on her father’s arm. The beautiful couple finally said yes after their vows and a moving ceremony officiated by Ines.

A cocktail party set up in the  gardens of the Château gradually opened the festivities, notably under the guitar and voice of Marie, LaGammine.

This was followed by a photo session with the guests and then an intimate session of the bride and groom in a magnificent avenue of plane trees.

As the sun gradually set, it was time for dinner. With the guests seated at tables beautifully decorated in blue tones, the bride and groom made their entrance accompanied by the piano of the cinematic orchestra.

After a wonderful dinner, the bride and groom stood in the middle of their guests to offer their first dance to the sound of Etta James’ At Last, a magical moment symbolizing their love, while surrounded by dozens of candles on the floor.

The wedding cake was then taken by Fay, a burlesque dancer and singer, who delivered an incredible performance afterwards. Saturday June 11th, their special day, ended after a party, led by DJ Alex, that lasted until the end of the night.

I thank again the vendors who helped me to make this day unforgettable and I thank you, my bride and groom, for trusting me to realize the most beautiful day of your life.
